Sometimes in Washington DC you need to have an outfit that you can wear from day to night without having to go home to change. Many people don't like to wear a full black look in the summer, and I would.

Presidential Inauguration Fashion Show went great!

The Presidential Fashion Show took place this past Sunday, January 20th and turned out to be a very wonderful event. Mariam Heydari, along with other celebrated designers, was featured to present new pieces picked specifically for this event. Many notable people and celebrities attended this grand celebration of President Obama's second term, as well as enjoy the art of DC designers, including our very own, Mariam Heydari.

Fashion Friday & Omarosa

We want to thank everyone for coming to Fashion Friday and making it a great success! Mariam had a great time meeting all of you and sharing some of the pieces that will be in the Presidential Fashion Show this upcoming Sunday. Mariam also had the pleasure of meeting, dressing, and being interviewed by reality show personality, Omarosa Manigault.

Presidential Inauguration Fashion Show & Fashion Friday

The Presidential Fashion Show takes place every four years to celebrate the presidents election. This year, along with other celebrated designers in DC, Heydari Design will be featured at the event. The show itself will be taking place this upcoming Sunday, January 20th. If you can't make it to the show, come to Fashion Friday this week at Heydari Union Station. Meet and mingle with Mariam Heydari as she gives an exclusive peek into some pieces that will be featured at The Presidential Fashion Show. Some of these pieces, such as evening dresses, will be available for purchase at Fashion Friday with an additional 30% off.

Heydari Design featured on Artful Home!

Heydari Design debuted on the Artful Home website on December 27, 2012 and released in Artful Home’s 2013 catalog distribution on January 3. 2013. Artful Home selected Heydari for its unique, one-of-a-kind, original and artistic collection and its loyal clothing lovers.

New Year, New Beginnings!

Last year was a very eventful and wonderful year for Heydari Design. Designer and owner of the Heydari Line, Mariam Heydari, participated in many juried exhibitions as well as fashion shows throughout the year including DC Fashion Week, Atelier, Nayak, and many more. After the busy holiday season, Mariam took a trip to Iceland to celebrate the New Year and search for inspiration for the 2013 fall collection.

We're very excited to start this blog to update our dear customers and friends about all things Heydari. There will be weekly updates and news from Heydari Design, along with sneak peaks into our new collections every season, and even occasional gift certificates for our readers!
